Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project Video
Pittsburgh 48 hour film Project (2020)
Here is our submission to the Pittsburgh 48 Hour Film Project. In case you’re not familiar with this, it’s an international competition where groups of filmmakers gather one weekend a year (different weekends for each city) and are assigned a genre, a prop, a line of dialogue, and the mention of a specific character, and then each team has 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and deliver their film. This is the second year we’ve participated and we are very happy with the results.
This year, we drew “Dark Comedy” as our genre, and “cookies” were the assigned prop that needed to appear somewhere in the movie. The Pittsburgh 48 hour film project also assigns a character that must appear. This year, the character was “professional organizer” by the name of Ned or “Nora Keygleason”. A line of dialogue must also be spoken exactly and this year’s line was “Uncle Bill gave me good advice.”
